Terms of Use

1. Agreement to Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Platform. Leap India Stack Foundation (‘LISF’) reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes means you accept the new terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform. You represent that you are enrolled in an LISF programme and have the right to use this application. If you are under 18, you may not use the Platform.

3. User Account and Registration

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You agree not to share your phone number, OTP, or account access with anyone. You are fully responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact your batch coordinator or block coordinator immediately or email info@leapindia.org.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe on the rights of others or restrict their use and enjoyment of the Platform. You shall not:

• Provide false, inaccurate, or misleading information in your profile or communications.
• Harass, threaten, abuse, defame, or harm other users through messages, comments, or interactions.
• Post, upload, or transmit harmful, illegal, obscene, or defamatory content.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform or its systems.
• Disrupt or interfere with the normal functioning of the Platform.
• Use the Platform for commercial purposes outside of your registered business activities.
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations.

LISF reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms.

5. Content and Intellectual Property

The Platform, including all text, graphics, software, code, and content, is owned or licensed by LISF or Patthana Technology Pvt. Ltd. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, or distribute any content without permission. Any content you create and share on the Platform (business data, comments, forum posts) may be used by LISF for program evaluation and research purposes (only in anonymized or aggregated form).

6. Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate and complete information when registering and using the Platform.
• Maintaining your device and ensuring it is secure.
• Protecting your login credentials and not sharing them.
• Ensuring that all data you enter (business metrics, financial information) is truthful and accurate.
• Using the Platform in compliance with all local, state, and national laws.

7. AI Advisory — Important Disclaimer

The Platform provides AI-powered business advisory, recommendations, and insights. These are tools to help you, not decisions made for you. You understand and agree that:

• AI recommendations may be incomplete, incorrect, or not suited to your specific situation.
• You should always verify AI recommendations with your batch coordinator, block coordinator, or other trusted advisors before acting on them.
• LISF and Patthana are not liable for any losses or damages resulting from your reliance on AI recommendations.
• You retain full control over your business decisions. AI is a support tool only.

8. No Guarantee of Results

LISF does not guarantee that use of the Platform will result in business growth, profit, or poverty graduation. The Platform is a tool to support your business development journey. Your success depends on your own effort, decisions, and market conditions. LISF and Patthana are not responsible for any business outcomes.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LISF and Patthana shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. This includes loss of data, business interruption, or financial loss arising from your use of or inability to use the Platform.

10. Platform Availability

We strive to keep the Platform available and functional. However, the Platform is provided on an ‘as is’ basis. We do not guarantee that the Platform will be error-free, uninterrupted, or always available. We may perform maintenance or updates that temporarily make the Platform unavailable. We are not responsible for any disruption of service due to internet issues, device problems, or other technical reasons beyond our control.

11. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Platform is governed by the Privacy Policy. By using the Platform, you consent to our collection and use of your data as described in the Privacy Policy. You acknowledge that your business data will be tracked and analyzed to measure program outcomes.

12. Termination

LISF may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time if you violate these terms or engage in harmful behavior. You may also request account deletion by contacting your batch coordinator, block coordinator, or emailing info@leapindia.org with the subject ‘Delete my account’ and your phone number.

13. Dispute Resolution

If you have a dispute regarding the Platform or these terms, first contact your batch coordinator or block coordinator. If the issue is not resolved, you may email info@leapindia.org with a detailed description of the problem. LISF will attempt to resolve disputes in good faith.

14. Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be resolved under Indian law.

16. Changes to Terms

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms of Use, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and LISF regarding the Platform. If any provision is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
